
The 5:2 Diet Book explains how Kate lost weight and began to feel healthier after watching a TV programme that recommended eating normally for five days a week and fasting for two, and putting the advice into practice. The book offers practical advice for anyone considering following the diet, as as well explaining the science behind it in layman's terms. It's available in paperback and for the Kindle in the UK and the US. There are free downloads to accompany the book here.
Kate also has advice for writers on her website, including tips on writing and how to find an agent, and her Diary of an Unpublished Writer, which documents her attempts to get published... which ended in success, of course.
She was recently filmed for the Life Of series about her life as a writer by MGL Media. You can watch the video below. (You can see she has a cold in the film... this was before she embarked on the 5:2 diet for a healthier lifestyle, of course!)
