Something for the Weekend

Three books arrived in the post:
Granta 122, Betrayal. This issue includes stories from Mohsin Hamid, author of The Reluctant Fundamentalist, and war reporter Janine di Giovanni, among others.

Through Irish Eyes: A Visual Companion to Angela McCourt's Ireland, a collection of photographs from Ireland in the era of Angela's Ashes with an introduction by Malachy McCourt.

The Crime Writer's Guide to Police Practice and Procedure, written by retired chief constable Michael O'Byrne.

Last night I went to an event called Sexy Classics at the Society Club where my friend Rebecca Chance was reading and discussing her books. I picked up a copy of her latest bestseller, Bad Angels

I also have an advance copy of Where the Devil Can't Go by Anya Lipska, which will be published in paperback on 7th February.

That's what I'll be reading this weekend. How about you?
