Lovely Literary Events: Polari

Polari is on at the South Bank in London tonight, Monday 28th January, at 7.45 pm.

Mark O' Connell headlines the first Polari salon of 2013 with Catching Bullets - Memoirs of a Bond Fan. A gilded and raucous account of being a Bond fan as the franchise celebrates its 50th Anniversary.

Currently developing his own sitcoms including 'Curtains', Mark was recently chosen by London 2012 and BT to be one of the official story tellers for the Olympics and is the celebrated writer of may sketch, Fringe and development shows.

Poet Mel Jones and authors Eric Karl Anderson, Qasim Riza Shaheen and Suzi Feay complete the line-up.

Polari is hosted by author Paul Burston. You can book tickets here.
