Lovely Literary Events in London

I'll be reading at A Christmas Girls' Night In with Rebecca Chance, Alex Marwood, Scarlett Bailey and Kate Harrison at Brixton Library on Wednesday 5th December at 7pm.

Rebecca will be reading from Bad Angels, Alex will read from Wicked Girls, Scarlett will read from Married by Christmas and Kate will read from Soul Beach. I'll be reading from The Miracle Inspector. I might also read a little bit of my new murder mystery, Invitation to Die, which will be published next year. It features a twenty-six-year-old Brixton-based amateur detective called Emily Castles.

Tickets are free. It will be lots of fun and there will be wine. Our books will be on sale at the event. Brixton Library is close to Brixton Station and it's easy to find as it's right next to the Ritzy cinema.

On Monday 10th December I'll be reading at A Very Polari Christmas in the Royal Festival Hall in London.

Paul Burston's 'peerless gay literary salon' returns for a festive outing with Bethan Roberts, Diriye Osman, Celine Hispiche, Marcus Reeves and me. Bethan will be reading from her new novel, My Policeman. I'll be reading from The Miracle Inspector.

It starts at 7.45pm. Tickets are £5 from the Royal Festival Hall. It's a good idea to pre-book as they usually sell out.

It's the last Polari of the year so do come along and have fun. Feel free to dress up, but don't feel you have to - Paul always does at least two costume changes so he'll be glamorous enough for the whole room. There will be booze and books for sale.
