Do you write books? Do you write book reviews? Do you read book reviews?
If so, some of these reponses will probably sound familiar. David Hebblethwaite has put together 'Review Response Bingo' over on his blog. Very funny. Do check it out.
The only bad review that's ever bugged me was one on the internet from someone who gave the book two stars and said it was a bad novel because one of the characters was so mean that it upset her!
That's weird! Fortunately anyone reading it would be likely to think so, so I think a bad review like that doesn't make any difference to sales - and might even brighten someone's day as they read it.
Not related at all but I just spotted a copy of Being Light very prominently displayed in the Recommended section of my local library, which made me smile.
